You’ve finally decided you can’t keep posting to your clinic’s Instagram at 10 p.m. after your last patient leaves.
So you start asking around, and the quotes you get back are all over the place.
One agency wants a big retainer, a freelancer quotes a fraction of that, and your cousin’s friend offers to do it for “a bit of cash.”
It’s hard to tell what’s fair when nobody explains what you’re actually paying for.
We get asked about cost on almost every discovery call, so here’s how we’d think about it if we were in your shoes.
What you’re really paying for
Social media management isn’t one thing.
It’s a bundle of small jobs that add up to hours every week.
- Planning. Deciding what to post each month so it lines up with your services, your slow seasons and what patients keep asking you.
- Writing. Captions that sound like your clinic, explain things clearly and stay within what your profession allows you to say.
- Design and video. Graphics, carousels and short-form video edits that look like they belong to the same brand.
- Posting and scheduling. Getting it out on the right accounts at the right times, every week, without gaps.
- Community management. Replying to comments and messages so a curious follower turns into a booked appointment.
- Reporting. A plain look at what worked and what to change next month.
The price difference between providers usually comes down to how many of these jobs they actually do.
A low quote often covers posting only, and you’re still left writing the captions or answering the DMs yourself.
What our packages cost, and what changes between them
We’d rather be upfront, so here are our starting prices.
- Classic, from $349/month. A good fit for a solo practitioner or a small clinic that wants a steady, professional presence without thinking about it.
- Elite, from $799/month. More content and more support, for clinics that want social media to bring in new patients on a regular basis.
- Premium, from $1,299/month. Our most hands-on option, for busy multi-practitioner clinics that want a fuller content mix and more of the day-to-day handled.
The full breakdown of what’s included in each one is on our packages section.
The right tier depends on your goals and how much you want off your plate, not on the size of your sign out front.
A one-person massage therapy practice and a ten-room multidisciplinary clinic usually need different things.
Why healthcare clinics shouldn’t shop on price alone
A general agency can make your feed look nice.
What it often can’t do is write about care in a way that’s accurate, careful and still interesting to read.
Each profession comes with its own rules about advertising, testimonials and what you can promise.
We’d always tell you to check your regulatory college’s current guidance, and to work with someone who already knows to ask about it.
It also helps when the team gets your world.
Social media for chiropractors looks different from social media for dentists, and both look different again from social media for psychotherapists, where privacy and tone matter even more.
If someone gives you the same plan for a physio clinic and a med spa, that’s a sign they’re not thinking about your patients.
The cost of doing it yourself
Doing it in-house can look free, but it rarely is.
Every hour you or your front desk spend making graphics is an hour not spent on patients, follow-ups or getting home on time.
And when things get busy, social media is usually the first thing to slide.
An account that goes quiet for six weeks costs you more than a monthly fee, because people notice when a clinic disappears.

Thinking about handing it off?
Wellness Wave Marketing is a small Toronto-based team that manages social media only for healthcare practitioners.
We work with clinics across Toronto and the GTA, and with practitioners elsewhere in Canada and the US.
